Healthy Hogs Poker Run

Bikers

Healthy Hogs Poker Run is a 150 mile motorcycle ride benefiting Childhood Obesity Initiatives through Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Participants in the ride will enjoy well-maintained county and state roads full of twists and turns here in the Apple Capital of Georgia and then interstate riding north on Hwy 515 to the top of Brasstown Bald. Riders will visit four (4) distinct mountain home communities and will finish atop Georgia’s highest mountain peak. The race will depart Falling Waters®, it will journey through Ridgemont and Tranquility at Carters Lake® (the developer of Falling Waters® – the host venue for The Beat The Heat Challenge also developed these communities), to Penland’s Mercantile in historic downtown Ellijay and then it’s off to the finish at the top of Brasstown Bald. Riders will arrive at the parking area at the top of Brasstown Bald just after the cyclists finish their epic ride to the summit. During the ride, participants will draw one card from a full deck of cards and assemble a POKER HAND as they arrive and depart each stop on the Poker Run. A final 5th card will be drawn at Brasstown Bald. The riders with the highest three (3) hands will win prizes. All other riders will enjoy the benefits of the ride and the party at the top of Brasstown Bald.
